The Pinnacle Society: A Legacy of Visionary Giving
Since the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth was founded more than 200 years ago, countless lives have been enriched by a legacy of innovation and discovery in medical education, research, and patient care. The enduring achievements of the Geisel School have been made possible largely through gifts from enlightened individuals committed to the advancement of health.
- The Pinnacle Society honors the generosity of donors who make planned gifts from their estate assets.
- Planned or deferred gifts may include 401(k) or IRA beneficiary designations, life insurance, bequests made in a donor's will, revocable trusts, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts and lead trusts, pooled income funds, life estate agreements, or gifts of real estate.
- Donors can choose to support any number of activities and programs at the Geisel School of Medicine or at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, including the Norris Cotton Cancer Center and the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Or, they can allow their gifts to support the highest priorities of these institutions.
Members receive invitations to private luncheons and events featuring presentations by leading physicians and researchers from the Geisel School and Dartmouth-Hitchcock. We also gratefully recognize our donors as part of an elegant donor recognition exhibit at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
Currently, almost 220 donors are members of the Pinnacle Society.
Through their gifts, Pinnacle Society members ensure that the Geisel School and Dartmouth-Hitchcock are leading the transformation of health care in our region and setting the standard for our nation.
